Program Details

What to expect…

The program consists of full body workouts including cardio, toning, shaping and abdominal work to achieve weight loss and lean muscle development. People at all levels of fitness, from the beginner to the finely tuned athlete, can benefit from this program. Nutrition tips and guidelines will be provided throughout the program to complement the physical workouts. Additional cardio and abdominal workout programs will be provided to supplement the workouts as well.

 

Each participant will undergo a fitness assessment/evaluation the start and end of each 6-week program where s/he will be weighed, measured and photographed. Each participant will also undergo a fitness test including the completion of sit-ups for 1 minute, pushups for 1 min and a ¼ mile timed run. The pre-program evaluation will be conducted on the Saturday morning prior to the start of the 6-week session. The post-program evaluation will be conducted on the last Saturday morning of the 6-week session. Participants should come to the pre-program evaluation dressed to workout. Wearing spandex, clingy, thin materials will provide the best results for body measurements and the photographs. Bring extra layers if desired for actual workout/physical evaluation.

 

Each participant is also required to keep a food/nutrition journal logging all calories consumed during the program. These journals will be reviewed and graded throughout the program. Prizes will be awarded at the conclusion of the program for various accomplishments such as most weight lost.

 

What to bring…

Participants should bring water, a yoga/exercise mat and a pair of dumbbells (3-5 lbs for ladies; 8-10 lbs for men).  We will give all new participants a food log; be sure to bring your completed food journal for review to each workout session.  Last, but not least, bring a positive attitude and a serious work ethic!
